These baked donuts are gluten and dairy free and big on flavor. They're topped with sweet Bourbon Pecans that add a toasty and satisfying crunch.
Donuts:
- 1 cup gluten-free flour 1:1
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup dairy free milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Maple Glaze:
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 4 tbs maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbs dairy free milk
- Pinch of salt
- 4 oz Santé Bourbon Pecans
Instructions:
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, milk, and vegetable oil. Add in the dry ingredients and combine with a spatula.
- Spray donut pan with non-stick spray. Use a piping bag or large resealable storage bag with the tip cut at the end to add donut batter to your pan. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- While donuts are baking, chop Bourbon Pecans and place them in a wide, shallow bowl.
- In a medium sized bowl, whisk together confectioners sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, milk, and pinch of salt.
- Dip cooled donut into maple glaze then dip into bowl of bourbon pecans. Repeat for the remaining donuts.
